From Frustration to a Trusted Network—Why We Built Athleisure Basics

"We are going to launch the best clothing brand there is" - this is what we said back in 
2012. We had the designs, the vision, and we were ready to bring our apparel collection to life. The next step? Finding the right supplier and manufacturer ! Can't be that hard, right ?!  We started searching—reaching out to factories in all the usual places, placing inquiries, ordering samples, and waited. And then we waited some more.

When the samples finally arrived, the quality wasn’t what we expected. And follow-up requests for revisions? Often met with pushback and impatience from the manufacturer, as if we should be grateful they even made the first sample, let alone a second one.  Then Deadlines kept getting pushed. What seemed like a straightforward process turned into a frustrating cycle of delays and disappointment. So we tried another supplier, and another and so on. But when you're new in the business, without a big budget or large orders, most manufacturers don’t see you as worth their time.
We experienced rejection, ghosting, lies, deceit, unreliable promises - and waisted months, and then more than 2 years, chasing solutions that never worked. 
We lost time, money, and trust in the process. Endless back-and-forth, delays, excuses, and samples that never met our standards.

Every setback a new clothing brand could experience - we lived through it. 
Finally we found the right partners - in Portugal, and over the years, we have built 
strong partnerships and deep-rooted relationships and friendships with manufacturers, suppliers, and local businesses here.
We worked with them, learned their strengths, and built one of the largest networks 
of clothing manufacturers and suppliers in Portugal.

Now, we are able connect the right partners with the right customers. We match 
smaller local businesses with new brands that need lower quantities and pair largescale projects with the bigger manufacturers. Win - Win !

and companies we work with, allowing us to open doors others can’t even find and 
provide custom solutions for any clothing and apparel project, no matter the size.
