Sizing Tolerances

At Athleisure Basics, we are committed to delivering products with precise fits while
adhering to standard size and measurement tolerances.

What is Size Tolerance?

Size tolerance refers to the allowable range of variation in product measurements. For
instance, if the chest width specification for production is 50cm (19.7 inches),
tolerance of ±2cm (±0.8 inches) means the final product may measure between 48c
and 52cm (18.9–20.5 inches). These tolerances are inherent in all textile orders
because of the nature of malleable materials and their reactions during production
processes.

Sizing Tolerances

Additional Considerations:

For products undergoing specific processes, such as laundry treatments or the use o
fabrics made from twisted yarns, 50% of the stated tolerance values will be added.
These processes may introduce additional shrinkage or stretching, which can
influence final measurements
If you have any questions about sizing tolerances or how they apply to your order,
feel free to contact us at support@athleisurebasics.com.
